NEWTOWN, PA -- My 9 year old began questioning whether or not Santa Claus is real. Thanks to The Real Magic of Santa Claus, Honest answers that will make you believe, I didn't have to figure out what to say. The book is wonderful--it manages to "break the news" in a way that will not leave the child feeling disappointed (or worse--deceived). The book addresses the true magic of Christmas (something that, unfortunately, has gotten a little "lost" over the years. The author has accomplished this with a wonderful blend of facts, humor, wit, and personal stories. Truly an amazing book. I loved this book and highly recommend purchasing it for a child you love. If not today, at some point in the future you WILL be called upon to answer the age-old question, "Mommy/Daddy, Is Santa Claus real?" Instead of not knowing how to answer, you now are lucky enough to have a book to do the explaining for you as you and your child read it together. My only "complaint" is I wish it had been written several years ago when my 17 year old asked the same question!
